A review of current literature (prior to 1999) on ventilation rates, CO 2 in buildings with health and other human responses. Carbon Dioxide studies show that risks of SBS decreased with a decrease in CO 2 (below 800 ppm). The review involves 30,000 subjects in 20 studies with regard to the association of ventilation rates and human responses, and 21 studies with 30,000 subjects in CO 2 concentrations.
