A summary of a study that surveyed 2,435 workers in 80 office buildings and how HVAC design and maintenance is/can be associated with work-related lower respiratory, allergic and asthmatic symptoms. Walk throughs, checklists and questionnaires were completed. Results demonstrate that health problems may be reduced by improving HVAC system designs and maintenance.
