The leaders in air flow measurement and control damper technology have combined their talents to offer new products! Ebtron, Inc. and Tamco Dampers (T.A. Morrison & Co. Inc.) have completed testing and announce the availability of the AIR-IQ air flow measurement damper (AFMD) product line. The new product line combines products from both companies for assembly in Arizona.
This intelligent and reliable air flow measurement damper consistently provides both measurement accuracy and precise damper control. Unlike other combination products, the performance of the AIR-IQ has been verified in exhaustive testing at ±5% of reading throughout the entire measurement range without blade position interaction and with low leakage performance available to AMCA Class 1A levels. A wide range of damper insulation and thermal isolation options are available on the AIR-IQ, providing designers and owners many benefits.

Ebtron's electronic low flow thermal dispersion dual analog output airflow and temperature measurement station (ELF/D) provides precise airflow or equivalent velocity pressure and temperature measurements in challenging variable air volume (VAV) and small duct applications. Flow velocities of less than 500 FPM are typical in VAV applications, while velocities of up to 3,000 FPM are typical in small duct applications. The ELF/D is factory calibrated from 0 to 3,000 FPM (0 to 15.24 m/s) in highly accurate wind tunnels to NIST traceable volumetric airflow standards. The ELF/D provides typical air flow accuracy of 3% of reading over the entire flow range in VAV boxes and in duct applications up to 16 inches. The temperature output is calibrated from 30° to 160°F [-1.1° to 71.1°C] with ±0.15°F [0.08°C] accuracy. A flow integration filter is implemented to reduce the effects of transient wind flows. The ELF/D features a calibrated probe, integral enclosure and mounting brackets for simple field installation. A convenient DIP-switch user interface allows for field selection of airflow or equivalent velocity pressure output, four full-scale measurement range options and 0-10VDC or 2-10VDC analog outputs for interface with virtually any BAS.

EBTRON introduces the ALRT-100, a high quality, economical alarm solution
designed for installation in new or existing HVAC applications where an alarm feature
is necessary. The ALRT-100 includes jumpers to configure device input signal
and for selection of alarm output type. The alarm output can be set up as dry
relay contacts (normally open, close on alarm, rated 30VDC/24VAC @ 3 amp maximum)
or as an external LED driver (15mA typical). Alarm threshold is fixed at
3.0VDC (0-5/0-10VDC inputs), or 6mA (4-20mA input). The analog input will
accept 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC or 4-20 mA signals for communication with virtually all
modern controls and building automation systems (BAS).
