They are available in three different mounting styles to simplify installation.
- Internal. Mounts inside the duct or plenum.
- Insertion. Our most popular style mounts through the side of the duct.
- Standoff. For unducted outside air applications close coupled to dampers (not as accurate as insertion or internal).
All styles can be mounted AFTER the ductwork has been installed.
The -P probes are available in four sensor densities (A, B, C and D on the Gold Series, limited sizes of A and B on the Silver Series) based on the requirements of the application as follows:
- D – Test and Balance applications when a large number of individual sensing points are required for verification of airflow.
- C – Typical HVAC applications with limited distances between disturbances (published placement guidelines).
- B – Typical HVAC application when there are longer distances between disturbances than required for C performance (consult factory for guidelines).
- A – A competitive upgrade to pitot arrays and transducers.
