EBTRONhas designed many quality features into this Gold Series transmitter.
- The power input is fused and protected and uses a high quality switching power supply.
- A pushbutton interface and LCD simplifies field configuration and diagnostics (configuration is a feature, not a requirement).
- An expansion port allows for additional options such as our new EB-Link infra-red link to your PDA.
- Multiplexers switch in up to 32 independent raw sensor signals.
- Gold plated interconnects result in long-term performance.
- A stable, high accuracy A/D converter does not require field calibration.
- A high speed microprocessor processes airflow rates every 50 milliseconds.
- The output signals are isolated, fused and protected.
- The power terminal is larger than the signal terminal block to minimize installation blunders.
- The output signal can be fixed between 0 and 100% to verify control system conversion.
- Transmitters can be setup in I-P or S.I. units.
- Factory default values can be easily changed in the field. Although not recommended, the device can be adjusted in the field. Key entry mode allows an exact slope and intercept to be entered. Live mode allows for adjustments to be made while viewing the output on the LCD.
- A digital output filter allows for signal filtering. For most control applications EBTRON recommends an output filter setting of 0 (off) even if the signal is fluctuating since these fluctuations are real and should be measured in real-time by the controller.
- A low limit cut off forces the signal to 0 under a predefined value. This is useful on outside air intakes that indicate flow when the intake damper is closed (fairly common).
View individual sensor airflow and temperatures to diagnose HVAC systems problems (not just to check out the transmitter).
