#8 and 9 illustrate control schematics for building pressure control
through volumetric fan tracking. On systems with a return fan, the
addition of a very accurate differential pressure sensor or “bleed
(flow) sensor”, across the relief air damper allows for dynamic
control of relief airflow rates at all times. Systems that require
variable relief during the minimum outside air cycle present a new
challenge for traditional economizer control schemes, which typically
only open the relief air damper during economizer.
